Martin Huber was born on May 6th 1980 in Innsbruck.
After finishing high school and compulsory military services he
immatriculated at the University of Innsbruck in Oct 1999. During
his business studies he was several times abroad, because intercultural
experiences were and are important to him. In July 2000 and July
2001 he was at the summer university in Moscow, from September 2001
until April 2002 he studied two semesters in Grenoble in the French
Alps. In May and June 2002 he did an internship at the Austrian
Chamber of Commerce in Kiev, Ukraine. In September 2003 he visited
a language school in Malaga, Spain. After finishing his studies
in February 2004 he worked in the Marketing Dept. of a well-known
crystal manufacturer.
Since Martin was 17 he has been working in his parents' company
"Sport Camp Tirol" to gain experiences in the field of
tourism and the organisation of holiday activities and outdoor programmes.
He passed the rafting exam in May 1998 and started to work as raft
guide, further more he likes kayaking a lot. Martin is a passionate
skier and obtained the ski instructor certification in December
1997 and the ski trainer certification (Austrian Ski Federation)
in March 2004.
